Our house - the red house
Each morning I have been waking up early (no Daylight savings, so the sun comes up around 4 am) and have been heading outside to the balcony off our upstairs living room for some quite time. After that we head to Azadi park for running/walking. We come back, have some breakfast, get ready and head out for errand running. This is typically done in the morning, then the big meal is had around 1 pm. After this meal, it is nap time! So far most of us have been taking 3 hour naps (which feel amazing!). Then it's up again for a snack/light dinner and evening activities. (I think I could get used to the nap thing each day. Do you think I will be able to continue that during the school year? Haha!)

Beginning tomorrow, much more time will be spent at The LIFE Center. We went the other day to clean and will be heading back again shortly to clean a little more and set up for registration. Registration begins tomorrow evening and runs for 4 evenings. Then classes and Kids Club being the following week. Much more of a routine! Woohoo!

Mowing the lawn next door (I couldn't pass up posting this)
Like the pink - you won't get lost hunting your house. It looks like the southwest - what's the weather like? And what errands are you running -do you shop in open-air markets or stores? Who cooks? I'll mention the 3 hr nap request at work! Can't wait to keep reading. Connie
ReplyDeleteSo great to see the sites. The "grass cutting" tops the list of interesting pics! I bet you're ready to get started, although the nap thing does sound very relaxing. We're thinking and praying for you. So glad that you made is safe. The Life Center looks like it will become a second home. Can't wait to hear more ;)
ReplyDeleteChrista, sounds like you are going to be really busy when everything is set up and running, pics are great, can you see your Mom cutting grass like that. You are in my prayers every day, looking forward to more updates from you, Love ya
ReplyDeleteI love your house!!! Squares, circles, and triangles (can you find them all?) When am I going to see you mowing the lawn? After your nap? I gotta get me one of those. I think we should talk to Mr. Toone about a 2 hour teacher appreciation nap time every day! Good luck with sign-ups.

Wow, that house is nicer than I thought it would be. I putting in a request for a lawn that size, at least then the outside chores would be shorter. Glad to see everything is working out so far. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures from around the area.
